You don't have to Mirage, get back under your bridge.

I heard a few people talking about this in-game, but unfortunately I knackered my computer speakers so can't listen atm. Keep up the good work though, hopefully I'll tune into the next one.

Ok guys, thanks for all the good words...

According to the station owner, I did good (maybe it was smashing his listener count on the first show that did it, thank you all for tuning in) @ 132 listeners and got the highest listener count of the year apparently

Anyway... now I need your help!

Myself and DJ icecold are about to put forward our plan for the main Guild wars show each week and we want your input for the show, just as ANet wanted player feedback for the game, we want player and listener feedback and involvement in the show... Music you want to hear, things you want mentioned, what your guilds are upto (especially as people will very quickly get sick of hearing about what Wolf Pack Samurai and Internation Brigade are doing), your predictions for the tournaments and things you want to see in chapter 4 and GW2...

I will be checking this every week, however, if you have something breaking that you want on the show, like one of the listeners is being foolish enough to get married, or you've had a new baby sprog, let me know that too and i'll mention it for you and play you a tune (after throwing up )

So yes, i'll get the show up and running, I'll bring the music and i'll set the times and dates... now you just tell me what you want!

Peace

~Lone

PS: A sticky on this would be cool so everyone can get involved thanks MODS...

awesome idea if it was done in moderation. like say you need a group for varesh, shiro, UW, FOW, etc...

would be monotinous though if people called in looking for a group outta kamadan or shing jea..lol

Hmm... thats the issue with Guild Wars though... although they may seem like an achievement on a personal side, they are things that anyone can do, hell, even getting ranked in the top 100 isn't a great achievement to the masses as the ladder is such a fickle place...

But then again, this is the issue that a lot of MMO's have anyway as the content is there for anyone to do, but with the instancing restrictions on Guild wars, its even less of a big thing, but if people want the shout outs, message them to me...

Ok, theres something, i want to know what your doing in game when you requests a song... If your about to GvG, tell me and requests a song that'll get all your team motivated... if your about to tackle the Domain of Anguish, request a rocking tune to go into it with and let me know

"Straight to Hell" by The Urge - Pretty great and appropriate song before going into a GvG.

"The Distance" by Cake - Not sure why, but a lot of times when I run, this song always pops in my head.

"Your Guts (I Hate Em)" by Reel Big Fish - Just an overall awesome song, especially when you are doing any PvP.

"History of a Boring Town" by Less Than Jake - Again, an overall awesome song, especially if you live in a boring town.

You should get those going on the air sometime.

Remember, if you want to hear something, request it during the show, if i don't have it I'll let you know...

However, remember you can only request one tune an hour for fairness to others requesting

Personally I think that the show was very good. I would rather listen to music and commentary than listen to the games music all of the time. These forums have plenty of things you could discuss on the air. Soon news about Chapter 4 will be out and I know lots of people would want to discuss that. Perhaps have a short interview with one of the forum Mods here(if possible). As for any of the Guild Wars players that have said that you are not doing a good job. Personally I would not listen to them. There are many Guild Wars players that just bitch for the sake of bitching. They are never happy with anything. I liked the show and I know others did as well. Keep up the good work and I know as time goes by the better the show will be. =)
